Today, Covid 19 is already everywhere, it led to many infections and deaths around the world, and till this moment numbers are still increasing. Although there were more serious viruses which infected 7 billion people around the world and caused more severe issues yet the difference with this virus remains its rapid spread and our contribution as people. We, as people, were able to create another kind of virus called Fear Virus. This disease was able to spread rapidly with the help of the River of Information, which is streaming through social media like Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, WhatsApp, etc. This which causes high traffic in consuming, resharing news and information from and to social media which is something that we need to take into consideration while drinking from this river and tossing as well into it.

Corona has many health symptoms, but the most important symptom was fear and panic, which led to strange behaviors in our societies, so we saw people fighting at food stores or bakeries terrified from the possibility of scarcity of materials in the markets. All these behaviors are not human nature yet are caused by fear.

On the other hand, some countries infrastructure was affected, somewhat in some areas it collapsed, for example Italy, as we saw people running to hospitals for minor symptoms because of fear of corona, while they occupied a place that someone else was in deep need for. Despite the tremendous efforts of many governments around the world, terror and fear dominated the economic market thus affected the way institutions or projects operate around the world.

We all participated in one way or another in creating the FEAR virus through drinking from the river of information and our desire to share information with our surroundings.  To summarize, there are 3 types of people who contribute to creating this horror and fear and they are divided as follows:

1. Those who intend to harm through his information and normally he follows a special agenda. It could be an independent person or channel whose goal is to damage the society.
   2. He who speaks of something that is not his profession, example a pilot who preaches about medicine, or a doctor analyzing the road infrastructure.
2. Citizen journalism: A user of social media channels, who receives information from the river and resends it, and may also add to it without knowing its impact on others.

Prevention of Fear virus is easy and can be summarized as follows:

1. Speak only about your specialization.
2. Check the information before approving and republishing it. Always check the reliability of the source.
3. There is a quote that says: “If words are silver, silence is gold” Now is the best time to keep quiet. Let the governments and knowledgeable people do their part to control the crisis.

Finally, remember: Say something good or stay silent …!
